Terms, Conditions, Cancellations and Refunds
Payment terms
Wedding cakes - A non refundable deposit of £50 is required to confirm the order. The order is not booked with me until a deposit has been received. The balance is due one calendar month before the agreed delivery date.
All other cakes - A non refundable deposit of £30 is required to confirm the order. The order is not booked with me until a deposit has been received. The balance is due on or before the delivery date.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation of an order by you - You are required to give fair notice if you wish to cancel a cake. You will be required to pay the full amount for any wedding cake cancelled within 1 calendar month of the delivery date, regardless of whether the cake is has been made or whether or not you take delivery of it. Wedding cakes cancelled within 3 months of the delivery date may be subject to part payment if work has already begun (fruit cakes, sugar models etc.) or purchases for the cake have already been made.
The issuing of refunds following any cancellation by you will be at my discretion.
Cancellation of the order by me - In exceptional circumstances (such as a family emergency) I reserve the right to cancel a cake at any time. No charges will be made, and all monies paid will be refunded immediatly but no compensation will be payable should this occur.
Quality Control
Cakes should be inspected by you, or a representative, on delivery to ensure that they were not damaged in transit. Please call me immediately if there is a problem.
